Unfortunately, this week, NOTHING HAS HAPPENED.
Yes, that's right, there has been absolutely zero change on the measuring tape. And again, the picture looks no different - although I do feel smaller this week, around my waist, so maybe I have changed!
Please excuse my face. It was 8am, I had to get up to go to the gym, and that's just how my face looks in the morning. All scrunched up and unhappy. Really unhappy because NO ONE wants to get up to go to the gym. (Well I imagine some people do, but I really wasn't feeling it today).
Anyway - end result this week is no change. I kind of expected that though because there was so much change last week, I figured I couldn't expect that to happen twice in a row. SO next week will hopefully see some changes! But then, the more I think about it the more I feel like even half an inch is a lot, isn't it - it sounds like a lot. If I lost half an inch on my waist every single week I'd be super duper tiny in a really unrealistically short amount of time.
But all in all, I'm not actually that sad that nothings changed this week because I'm still on the buzz from last week. As long as I haven't gone back up, and I can fairly expect it to continue going down next week, its all good.
Also - I decided speedwalking on an incline just doesn't work, because Google told me holding onto the bar is naughty. So I'm running (HA, running... Its a brisk jog) now. 3 minutes running, 1 minute walking, and so on and so forth until I can't put one foot in front of the other anymore. That happens fairly quickly, actually. I'm burning only around 400 calories now but I'm more tired afterwards so I really do think I was cheating with speedwalking. I feel like I'm doing more now, and the number of calories the treadmill is telling me is a genuine reflection now.
